Commentary
For this group of texts see commentary on P.1
i. For the K in Heraklidas the cutter has used the monogram, ΣΤΚ, for which see on P.3
ii: Oliverio tentatively suggested Μά(ρκω) Ἀλεξανδρεὺς.
iv. 2: This is apparently an abbreviation of the word φίλος, another term used to link a pair of ephebes (e.g. P.11, P.12, P.22, P.70); the more common abbreviation is φιλ, expressed as a monogram: see on P.26.
