Description: Brown limestone stele (w: 0.56 x h: 1.75 x d: 0.40).
Text: Inscribed (a) on the front face, which is damaged below, but still appears to have plenty of available space; instead, the text continues (b) on the left face, which is damaged above. The vacant spaces shown in a, lines 5, 6, 11 mark holes in the stone avoided by the mason.

Findspot: Gebel Akhdar: East of Cyrene: Ruus el Aslab, on the east bank of a small Wadi 2 km inland from the coast; found in 1967 .

(Latin): Emperor Caesar Vespasianus Augustus, pontifex maximus, holding tribunician power for the fifth time, acclaimed imperator ten times, father of the fatherland, consul five times; through the agency of Q(uintus) Paconius Agrippinus, his envoy, restored the royal estate to the Roman People.

(Greek): Emperor Caesar Vespasianus Augustus, high priest, holding tribunician power [for the fifth time, acclaimed] imperator [ . . . ] envoy, restored the land of the kings to the Roman People.
