C.403. Fragmentary list of ?priests

Description: Three fragments, probably from the same inscribed marble stele: a, From the left edge, of lines 4-6; b, (w: 0.41 x h: 0.61 x d: 0.24) presumably with lower edge; c without edges. C.404, C.405 and C.406 may be from the same stele.
Text: Inscribed on one face; each entry in a different hand.
Letters: Probably first century CE; a and b: lines 1-7, 0.04-0.045; lines 8-11, 0.03-0.035.

Findspot: Cyrene: Sanctuary of Apollo; photographed in 1926 as from the Sanctuary.

Commentary

The different hands suggest that the text contained a running record of eponymous priests of Apollo.
