T.569. Funerary inscription

Description: Rock-cut tomb inscribed on the façade, which is partly buried, with T.567, T.568, T.569, T.570; cf also T.571.
Text: Inscribed within a sunk triangular-headed panel, partly buried (w: 0.35 x h: 0.54), the surface damaged above, on a north-facing wall to the left of T.568.
Letters: 0.04-6; cursive alpha and epsilon, sigma and omega; rectangular and lunate sigma; cursive and (perhaps) traditional omega; several different hands.

Date: First century CE

Findspot: Taucheira: Quarry East XV, West wall. RAF Tomb C. First recorded in 1944.
