T.479. Funerary inscription

Description: Rock-cut tomb inscribed on the façade which was still largely buried when recorded in 1950; subsequently broken away from the wall to lie on the floor of the quarry with T.478 broken, T.479 no longer visible.
Text: To the right of T.478, within a gabled panel outlined in relief (w: 0.40 x h: 0.50).
Letters: 0.04; L for ἔτους, ἐτῶν; a bar above o in line 1.

Date: Probably first century CE

Findspot: Taucheira: Quarry East XV, south wall; recorded in 1950.
