Description: Rock-cut tomb inscribed on the façade, which is badly worn in the lower right quarter, with P.251 and P.252.
Text: Inscribed below P.251, within a moulded tabella ansata (w: 0.35 x h: 0.27).
Letters: 0.03; cursive epsilon, cursive omega.

Luka (scil. daughter) of Thaios, aged 31. (scil. Tomb) of Gaios (i.e. Gaius) (scil. son) of Gaios (i.e. Gaius), aged 45.

Commentary

1: The name suggests a Jew. It is probably feminine nominative (so LGPN) but it might be a genitive of Lukas, with the sense of (Tomb of).
