Description: Rock-cut tomb, inscribed with P.240 and P.241.
Text: Inscribed on the façade, to the right of P.240, within a sunk triangular-headed panel (w: 0.31 x h: 0.95):i within the triangle; ii, within the panel.
Letters: 0.02 - 0.03; lunate epsilon, lunate sigma, cursive omega, squared s-shaped digamma.

Date: First - third century CE

Findspot: Ptolemais: Quarry I.b.i, west wall; first recorded in 1825.
Original location: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Findspot.
