M(arkos) Aurelius Phlabianos (i.e. M(arcus Aurelius Flavianus): Baleria Markiane (i.e. Valeria Marciana) (scil. honoured) her dearest son. By Decree of the Council.

Commentary

For the statue which probably stood on the base see Rosenbaum, 1960, no. 116, Brinkerhoff in Kraeling, 1962 p. 184, p. 204 , no. 63.

Apparently a pair with P.146; there is however no indication in the nomenclature of a direct family relationship, suggested by Brinkerhoff.

The name probably indicates a date in the late second or early third century.
