M.82. Funerary inscription

Description: Lower part of small sandstone stele broken above (w: 0.28 x h: 0.395 x d: 0.095).
Text: Inscribed on one face between two palm branches; above the inscription there was a small panel containg reliefs of domestic objects of which only a trace of a key survives.
Letters: Average 0.02; lunate epsilon, lunate, cursive omega.

Date: First to second centuries CE.

Findspot: Gebel Akhdar: West of Cyrene: Gariet Rdanu with M.83, M.84, M.85, M.86; found in 1966.
Original location: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Tocra Museum.
