M.81. Funerary inscription

Description: Stele of brown limestone with rounded gable and acroteria above, broken in two across the middle (w: 0.365 x h: 0.41 x d: 0.12).
Text: Inscribed on one face within a sunk panel flanked by crude representations of columns in relief.
Letters: Lines 1, 2, 0.03; lines 3ff. 0.02-0.025; lunate epsilon, lunate sigma, cursive omega.

Date: Perhaps second century CE

Findspot: Gebel Akhdar: West of Cyrene: Suani Umm el Hagel; found in 1963.
Original location: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Tocra Museum.
