To Iatros and Ias]o, [saviour] god[s: for the safety of Emperor Caesar Titus Ae]lius Hadria[nus Antoninus Augustus, Pious . . .

Commentary

The restoration we suggest is rather tentative; but the imposing lettering would suit a dedication for an emperor, and the surviving elements of the name suggest Antoninus Pius.

For other texts associating Iatros and Iaso see C.228,C.756, M.189, M.190, M.191, and Dobias-Lalou, 1993.

Line 1: As in M.189, line 1; but ἐπηκόοις is also possible as in M.190, line 4.
