Description: Rock-cut tomb
Text: Inscribed above the door, i to the left, ii to the right.
Letters: 0.032 (phi 0.05); lunate omega. First century CE; the reduplicated sigma is a feature often found in the first century CE.

Date: CE 53-4

Findspot: Gebel Akhdar: West of Cyrene: Taurguni, a little west of the road from Messa to Haniya, near M.143. Recorded in Taurguni, probably before 1941, in a drawing by an unknown observer deposited in the photographic archive at Cyrene; recorded again in 1991.

Commentary

There were probably two names, each with patronymic and perhaps age.

Despite being found near a boundary marker (M.143), the tomb is clearly outside the limits of the estate.
