C.739. Funerary inscription

Description: Marble stele, tapering towards the top (w: 0.36-0.32 x h: 0.98 x d: 0.22).
Text: Inscribed on one face. On the upper half of the stone their appear to be lines of inscription, but the surface is much worn and coated with lime.
Letters: 0.04; lunate sigma.

Date: First - third century CE

Findspot: Cyrene: findspot unrecorded; found before 1941.
Original location: Unknown.
Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum.
