Commentary
The size of the letters could suggest a formal, even a public, inscription and if that is right the text might have read e.g. το]ῖς πανε[υδαίμοσι . . . ; but size of letters does not preclude a private text so it may have contained a name, e.g. Ἄριστ]ις Πανέ[ρωτος.
