Year 15, Zoilos (scil. son) of Kosmos.

On the building see Kraeling, 138f. This may name the donor of the column; but it is unsafe to date the building on the assumption that the column was originally designed for its present position. Texts of this kind are frequently found in an ephebic context.

Line 1: Year 15: Kraeling regards this as an Actian date (17-16 BCE), but a regnal year is equally possible.

Line 2: for the patronymic written below in smaller letters see P.91, P.185, P.186.iii.

Bibliography: Kraeling, 1962, 2, and pl. XXIV b.
