Commentary

Line 1: The erased word indicates that the name of a condemned emperor stood here - probably Commodus; this is followed by a list of officials.

Line 5: A reference to ἀκαδημαρχος or ἀκαδημαρχοῦντες; the text is from the preamble to an ephebic document. See further on P.54, and at Cyrene, C.131.

Line 6: From γυμνασιαρχος or γυμνασιαρχῶν.
