C.612. Funerary inscription for Damo

Description: Approximately half of a circular altar of marble, hollowed out in the centre. Inscribed on two different occasions with C.611 and, subsequently, C.612.
Text: Inscribed on the drum, within the wreath (0.11) with pendent ribbons. Τhe quality of the lettering contrasts with the comparative elegance of the monument.
Letters: Probably first century CE; 0.015-0.025.
