Letters: l. 1, 0.02; lines 2, 3, 0.04; roughly cut between strongly marked guidelines.

Findspot: Ptolemais: original findspot unrecorded; found in 1941.

Commentary

The impression is that the Latin letters were cut by an indifferent workman who did not understand them. If the last line is correctly interpreted the text is funerary - but it is far from certain.
