M.250. Funerary inscription

Description: Part of a brown limestone stele, damaged above but with traces suggesting a gabled top (w: 0.23 x h: 0.21 x d: 0.11).
Text: Inscribed on one face which is in poor condition.
Letters: Freehand letters, probably first-second century : 0.02; quite roughly cut.

Date: Probably first to second centuries CE

Findspot: Gebel Akhdar: West of Cyrene: Gernada (Battisti) on the Slonta road, a little south of the Cyrene cross-roads; found in 1966 with M.249.
Original location: Unknown
Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum.
