Description: Cylindrical marble base, broken away above, with traces of upper moulding (h: 0.64 x diam.: 0.51).
Text: Inscribed on the drum, clear and well-spaced lines
Letters: Probably first century CE; superscript bar above abbreviated name.

Date: First century CE

Findspot: Cyrene: Fountain Terrace; found during excavation in 1934.
Original location: Unknown.
Last recorded location: Beside the Grotto of the Priests.

Ti(berios) K[laudios] (i.e. Ti(berius) C[laudius]) Phaos Titianos (i.e. Titianus), serving as priest (scil. ?erected this)

Commentary

The layout makes it highly probable that line 1 should be completed K[λαύδιος] and that nothing is lost at the end of lines 2 or 3.
