Commentary

Mesore 19 (August 12th) is the date given in the Calendar of Filocalus for the Lychnapsia: see J. Divjak and W. Wischmeyer, Das Kalenderhandbuch von 354 (2014) 212, with commentary at 293, available at OAPEN.

There is unfortunately no clue to the original position of the block.
