Description: Three adjacent sandstone blocks( a: w: 72 x h: 56; b: w: 75 x h: 56; c: w: 70 x h: 57) in the City Wall, in a group which comprises T.163, T.164, T.165, T.166, T.168, T.169, T.170, T.171, T.172, T.173, T.174, T.175. In the second inscribed course.

Commentary

ii: Applebaum following Oliverio's reading 'Αριβα took it as part of an ethnic 'Αριβαῖος which he derived from Kephar Haribah and explained as referring to a Jewish émigré of the time of the Maccabees; whatever the reading it seems more probable that this is a personal name; see Lüderitz op.cit.
