Description: Brown limestone stele (w: 0.63 x h: 1.68 x d: 0.42).
Text: Inscribed on two faces: a on the front face, b on the right side, which is damaged above.
Letters: Latin: lines 1, 2, 0.06; remainder 0.04-0.05; Greek: 0.04.

Findspot: Gebel Akhdar: East of Cyrene: on the West side of the Wadi Sahela, c. 1 km from Apollonia / Derna road, close to hillock of Ruus el Aslab, and near the ruins of an apparently prosperous village; found in 1959

(Latin): Emperor Caesar Vespasianus Augustus, pontifex maximus, holding tribunician power for the fifth time, acclaimed imperator ten times, [father of the fatherland] consul five times; through the agency of Q(uintus) Paconius Agrippinus, his envoy, restored the royal estate to the Roman People.

(Greek): Emperor Caesar Vespasianus Augustus, high priest, holding tribunician power for the fifth time, acclaimed imperator ten times, father [of the fatherland, consul five times, through the agency of Q(uintus) Paconius] Agrippinus, his envoy, restored the royal estate to the Roman People.
