Text: Inscribed on the face below the moulding, which is worn. On the face above the moulding two incised lines run approximately
from the upper corners
slantwise across the face to approximately the central point on the line of the moulding and lines have been incised along
the moulding to simulate more elaborate decoration.
Letters: Freehand letters, first-second century A,D, 0.035-0.04; lunate sigma, roughly cut between strongly marked guide-lines.

Commentary
The first line presumably contained the date; the traces of the last two letters which are all that remain are consistent with θώ]θυ (the month Thoth), but there is no sign of a figure to follow.
