M.131. Funerary inscription

Description: Part of a sandstone stele recomposed from two pieces (w: 0.315 x h: 0.52 x d: 0.05); upper part contained relief of which very little survives. Two pillars are visible, one at the right side and one at the centre, and a small round object between; a palm is drawn on the pillar to the right, and another on the surface to the left og it.
Text: Inscribed on one face at the base within a rectangular area .
Letters: Probably first century CE; 0.02; lunate epsilon, lunate sigma, omega; superscript bar above the figure

Findspot: Gebel Akhdar: West of Cyrene: area of Batta (formerly Oberdan), about 300m. from the village square with M.128, M.129, M.130 and M.132; found in 1938
