M.121. Funerary inscription

Description: Upper part and right side of a gabled stele of limestone reconstructed from fragments (w: 0.55 x h: 0.33 x d: 0.075). Above the inscription, within the gable, is a relief of a rosette within a wreath with stiff ribbons spreading out on either side from a knot at the bottom centre; below this is an architrave supported by columns, flanking a niche which contains reliefs of toilet articles. The text b. lines 3-5, is interrupted by the relief of a mirror.
Text: Inscribed on one face. The inscription is cut partly on the architrave (a) and partly in the niche (b) where it is interrupted by the reliefs.
Letters: No measurements; lunate sigma, epsilon, cursive omega; L for ἔτους; superscript bar above the figure in b, line 7.
