Commentary
The location is not certain: this fragment appears, from the negative numbers, to have been photographed with others in Ptolemais.
From comparison with other Latin funerary inscriptions for soldiers in Cyrenaica, the text probably gives the name in the nominative, and the person named in line 5 was probably the person responsible for the monument: cf. C.552, C.726, P.326.
